now there is a fix that will keep your computer from locking up or freezing if you are running windows 95/98 or windows m.e.
if your operating system is microsoft windows 95®, windows 98® or windows m.e.®, have you ever had the problem of your computer lock up or freeze on you? if so, i can help you. we can keep this from happening. my name is dave headrick and i have worked in hardware support for dell computers for the past year, troubleshooting the hardware and the operating system and i have hit on the solution for this problem. prior to that, i worked for two years as a network support tech for a major engineering/ construction firm. here again, it was my job to answer phone calls from employees, who, either could not access the network or could not access a portion of it as needed for their jobs. as a general rule, i have been able to, with just a few keystrokes, eliminate this issue without losing any data at all. i can help you do it, too.
welcome to my world. my world consists of mainly computers and my work. my work is also computers. most computer manufacturers will tell you that you need to re-install your operating system. that seems to be their cure-all for this issue. it rarely actually corrects the issue at all. it may for a while, but i guarantee the issue will resurface later. the problem is, you will probably lose all your valuable data, as you will have to completely wipe the hard drive clean to re-install it. that means, you will at least have to format the hard drive; hence, the data is gone. the truth of the matter is, there is probably nothing wrong with your computer. the fault lies within windows, be it 95, 98 or millennium edition.
an interesting story about microsoft and general motors that may help you decide if you need this "fix". please read!
