apb systems perl/cgi script archive currently offers three perl/cgi scripts for download. if you wish to set up a single search engine to your site, you can download apb search 1.12 for free. if you require more advanced features, shareware version 2.2 is also available. apb admin is a complete account manager that lets you manage accounts of your users. automatic registration of new users is included. if you maintain large web site and you wish to change the design of your entire site, you will probably need apb template that will save you a lot of time. this script is also available for free download.

apb search sets up a search to your site. this script can be used even by absolute non-programmers since setup wizard will guide you from the beginning till the end of installation. the script will display a list of all files that lie in your base directory and in all its selected subdirectories. an index file will be created from files you chose. running search from your site, program will look for keywords in the index and show the results. you can modify overall design of results page. boolean search and support for meta tags is available in version 2.2. searched words are saved in log file so you can track what your visitors are looking for. automatic update of index file also included! | |
