in a letter sent to verisign on friday, icann ceo paul twomey told the domain name registrar that it had until 6 p.m. pdt on saturday to comply with a request to take down the sitefinder service.

incredible new service brought to my attention, that lets you check by date which names have back-orders already taken with snapnames.  you can also see a list of all the available names that you can still put a back-order on if you want.

pagerank revisited

domain names with pagerank values of 4 and above are now updated each night.  you can find the links in the other section on the menu and in the top menu of the domain lists.  i’ll be testing it further and trying to keep the list clean and updated.  this is a vip only list.

google adsense allows smaller sites to make money displaying targeted text-based google adwords ads.

i ran a test on a page i point several domains to for google adsense.  the results were impressive to say the least.  the earnings potential at present with this program exceed anything else i’ve tested with this same traffic.  i can’t go into specifics, but i highly recommend hurrying over and signing up.

three new lists added

you’ll want to pay attention to the three newest lists that were added today.
type-in tomorrow domains, type-in today domains, linkpop

ti domain - list of domains with possible type-in value.
the previous “type-in” lists were renamed to ti phrase.

linkpop - list of deleting domains with link popularity in the aol / google family of search engines.  number indicates the number of pages of results, not links.
example:  domain.com 3, would indicate 3 pages of results.  this could be 21 to 30 results.

pool

another alternative service has sprung up and looks promising.  they call themselves simply “pool.”  check them out here.

the way it works is this:
you back-order as many names as you want.  no charge for placing the back-order.  enter 1000 names if you like.  they use their connections to grab the names for you.  when they get a name, your cost is $60.  the price includes the cost of registration.  if you’re familiar with namescout you know they’re extremely successful at fetching names when they worked with snapnames.

list update

three or four new lists have been added, and the lists have been organized a little better.  you should hopefully find them easier to use based on the new organization and descriptions.  the updates focused on names expected to be deleted today and tomorrow, in order to help you with drop catching.  you can use the drop register service i provide as well as services like dropwizard and namewinner or other similiar services.
