workplace lunch delivery service

i have been a stay at home mom for 10 years. i have a 2 year old and a 10 year old. i have worked evenings as a waitress for the past 6 years, although i made good money, i was tired of making my boss rich and decided i needed my own business.
i started realizing there was no catering trucks that went to any of the local businesses and there was a need for a workplace lunch delivery service. lunch break was born! this is a business i started for $600.00. i purchased lunch meat, cheese, hoagie buns, mustard, mayo, etc...i made up a menu of 6 sandwiches that i offered and past out flyers letting the businesses know that i would be coming to their businesses to sell sandwiches to their hungry workers.
they were so pleased to hear that i would be coming around mon-fri with these lunches. this way their employees didn't have to leave work to go get lunch, thereby increasing their productivity! it was a definite convenience for them and a money maker for me!
this type of business is great for a stay at home mom with school age children. when the kids are at school, you can make the lunches and deliver them all in about 3 hours. i made on average $800-$1000 month. thousands more when i had employees helping! this is easy money for an individual who is outgoing!
