you don’t need to waste your time trying to build a free website using auto-generated website software or free templates. in fact, by using this approach, it might impress a baboon, but it certainly will not impress intelligent life forms.

you don’t need to be a computer expert to build a professional looking website. in fact, with the right tools and the right guidance, anyone can build a website--absolutely free. i must stress that you need a well trained mentor in order to succeed. i warn--do not try to forge this path alone.

you don’t need to waste your time on a so-called “turn key” website. in fact, all you get is a vanilla flavored website. they say you get a free personalized website, but really your website looks exactly like hundreds of others. this does absolutely nothing for you. you won’t get noticed and the search engines won’t find you. this is especially true for mlm and pyramid schemes. repeat after me 3 times (i’m serious)... “i will stop lining the pockets of others. i will take control, and start lining my own.” what is the proverbial inside secret to success online? it is 100% ownership of your website design; it is the value that you give.

you don’t need to spend money to have a professional looking website. in fact, the last thing you want to do is pay someone else. why pay someone else when you can build a free website? you see, in addition to big up front costs that these big-dog companies charge, websites by their very nature need to be fine tuned and tweaked over time. do you really want to be dishing out hundreds of dollars each time your website needs a minor update?
secret #5:
you don’t need to be big to make money on the internet. in fact, the smaller you are, the better. an ideal setup is to build up your office in one room--even a bedroom will do. have your spouse or significant other as your business partner; and have no employees. let the big corporations do what they do best: burn money on office space and salaries. as for you, the small guy, you get to build and keep all of your profits from your free website.

since most of us don’t have a spare dime to spend when starting out (when i started my internet ventures, my personal bank accounts were well on the negative side)... there is no reason to spend money where you don’t need to. in fact, the best way (in my eyes, the only way) is to build your website using free stuff. after you build your own sales, you can then justify paying for extra fancier stuff. then and only then should you upgrade from the free stuff to the paid stuff. this is the exact same method that i have used time and again, and it works.

you can build a free website and run it part time. in fact, the last thing you want to do is quit your day job (at least at first). it may be the only time you hear this from an internet guru, but if you are out of a job right now, get yourself a day job before attempting to build riches on the internet. like i said before, the little guy flourishes on the internet, but they don’t flourish instantly. it usually takes weeks and sometimes months to build up the big profits. persistence pays off when it comes to the internet.

you don’t need a product to sell to build an income on the internet. in fact, there are many ways to build an income without having a product. however, the quickest way to start making money is to sell a physical product.

there is no such thing as get-rich-quick on the internet. in fact, there are thousands of these schemes out there and none of them work. every innocent and curious person has tried at least one of them (i’ve tried quite a few myself). the bottom line is (and you’ve heard this before), if it sounds too good to be true, then it is. wouldn’t you rather build your own profits and make some money? :)

retail sales on the internet for 2002 totaled 45.6 billion dollars (www.census.gov). but even though that sounds like a huge number, consider this: that number only represents 1.4 percent of total (not just on the internet) retail sales nationwide. what does that mean? that means you had better hold on tight, because we’ve only seen the beginning of what is to come. the internet is still in its infancy and will continue to build upon itself many times over.
