ravensbourne takes over dark beat releases
ravensbourne records has taken over the responsibility for release and marketing of three singles and an album all about to be released bearing the dark beat records name and logo. this follows the latter label's decision to pull out of releasing singles and albums for now and focus on its work in the film industry.

kevin east's single everything you do is gathering momentum following the decisions by jazz fm and mtv base to give it airplay. now an excellent review in the new edition of blues & soul courtesy of tony rounce has added to its kudos. support continues to be strong from the leading soul stations, especially solar radio, soul city fm, fusion 1073 and soul 24-7. kevin east performed a live set to an enthusiastic crowd at solar's recent weekender in dover and will perform a stripped down acoustic set for soul city's big event in mid-october. in the meantime, click here to read the review from blues & soul.
