here's how it works...
opt-in automator is software that allows your visitors to subscribe to your newsletter/ezine (basically give you their email address) without even having to type out their email address. of course, this is only if they want to (they could always hit 'cancel'), so the subscriptions are completely opt-in. another window also pops up after 'ok' is hit to double-check that the visitor does, indeed, want to opt-in. this feature basically eliminates the problem of visitors accidentally clicking 'ok' when they didn't really mean to opt-in.
