let me share a short story with you...

it shamed me to say it.
but in the end, it was the best thing that could have happened to me and my family.


you see, a few years ago, we were what has come to be called "the working poor". i worked 50 hours a week as an emergency department technician, making just over $10 an hour -- about $22,000 a year..
