money by the mouthful
what you should know about the health of your mouth and body... that no doctor will tell you!
robert o. nara, d.d.s. and steven a. mariner
"in my opinion the whole thing boils down to one simple fact: the dental establishment is scared to death that the public is going to realize that the entire profession has been making a living by repairing the results of a disease they could have been curing all along!"
- robert o. nara, d.d.s.

are you?
our ebook reveals the secrets kept from the public about oral health and what we should know about caring for our teeth and gums - that you may never have heard before! this is not a book about brushing twice a day and visiting your dentist every six months. this is a book that exposes the dental profession (industry) and reveals the truth about dental disease and what you can do about it right now...

why do good teeth go bad??
if you knew, would you do something about it?? as a rule, 'nature' provides us with 32 normal and healthy teeth by the time we are adults. unfortunately, by that time, many of us have had fillings (mostly silver/mercury amalgam), had teeth pulled, have gingivitis, our teeth bleed or breath stinks...
if 'nature' provided us with good teeth, why don't they stay healthy? you've been told that you should stay away from sugar... well, many foods convert to sugar, so what do you do? starve yourself? even fruits, which are good for us, contain sugars...
decay and disease are caused by bacteria and a host of other micro-organisms. they thrive on the foods trapped between your teeth and excrete an acidic by-product which destroys teeth above (cavities) and below the gumline. they exist in a 'biofilm' which attaches to your teeth and eventually creates tarter and plaque. you aren't born with these microbes in your mouth - you get them from other, infected individuals by kissing, sharing utensils, etc. maybe mom got you started when she tested the temperature of your baby food... these bacteria are anaerobic. they love warm, moist places - such as your mouth! as they colonize and spread your teeth and gums get effected; they bleed or get cavities. they may become loose or you may develop an abcess. the decay can go inward, through the enamel, into the dentin and eventally the root. forget the dollar cost of repairing that (if it can be), do you know the cost to your health? it isn't just the cost of losing a tooth... or two.
75% or more of all americans have periodontal disease (or some early stage...) and most probably do not even know it. it is a quiet and painless disease and by the time you even notice it in yourself, an awful lot of damage can have taken place. you go for a check up and your doctor says, "well, you've got some decay starting here... why don't we see you back here in six months and see what happens?" well, what is going to happen is that that decay is going to get worse, and fixing it six months down the road is going to cost you a whole lot more!why not simply prevent it in the first place??

when you read 'money by the mouthful,' you'll ask yourself, "why didn't my dentist tell me this!?" well, maybe he did and you didn't understand or maybe the hygienist tried to tell you, but she was under so much pressure to cram the next patient into her already busy schedule that she just couldn't get it through to you.
or maybe your dentist didn't tell you because if you were armed with this knowledge... you might not need him much anymore!!
ok, so i learn about all of this... what do i do about it??
good question! we're adding the

"i had an abscessed tooth. painful! the dentist wanted to pull the tooth; i did not! a friend imparted his knowledge of dr. nara's books and principles. within days of making myself "dentally self-sufficient" by putting into practice what i had learned, i no longer had an abscessed tooth. here it is, more than a year later, and that tooth is still intact! i am richer today because the dentist did not get my money; but more importantly, richer in knowledge that i put to good use!"
thank you!
