are you considering a small dog for your household but aren't sure which one is right for you?
take some time to explore our site. you'll find honest information - what's good and what's bad - about all the toy breeds recognized by the american kennel club (akc).
we'll help you pick the best small dog no matter what your lifestyle --
- you live in an apartment living
- you want a companion for country hikes
- you want a minimum of shedding
- you have allergies
- you have other pets
just one caveat. with all the romantic garbage out there about how wonderful it is to get a dog from a shelter, please do some research and read my 7 things you (probably) didn't know about animal shelters.
as an ex-breeder, certified canine specialist, dog writer and dog person, i'll share everything i've learned over the years.
for even more detailed information, order one of our breed-specific special reports that tell you about temperament, care and maintenance, potential health problems, where to buy your dog, and explain puppy-lemon laws and much, much more.
also, please visit our discussion board where you can ask questions or share your experiences.
