what's an ebook?

an electronic book, or "ebook," as it is often called, is just a book that is created in a word processor and then converted to a special computer file. the ebook can be easily downloaded from a web site to your own computer. then you can read the ebook on your computer screen or print it out for leisurely reading. very simple, and very convenient!

to view these ebooks, you will need the free adobe acrobat reader software. you probably already have it on your computer, but if not, you can download it here.

you will also need an unzip utility like winzip or pkunzip to open the file. most likely there's one on your computer already. or you can get a free unzip utility for windows, mac, unix, or solaris here.
