what has most value to jesus?
what does god really value? gold, diamonds, oil, land, or perhaps creation itself. yes i am sure that jesus values all these because after all, he created them.
however, when you look at the bible, god's word, you see jesus paying the ultimate price of his life for just one thing. people!

john 3:16
"for god so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

that means that you and i are extremely precious to jesus that he would die for us.
but why did jesus go to the lengths of dying?
read the following scripture and see if you can see why.

rev. 21:8
but the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars--their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. this is the second death."

the truth is that there will be a day when we each face god for judgement. he does not want anyone to face the consequences for their sin, hell. so he sent his son to die in your place and mine.
i do not believe that you are reading this by coincidence but by divine appointment.
jesus has asked me to tell you, the reader, that you are very precious to him. you may not be a 'bad' person be the world's standards. but, to god one lie, one untruth, one act of hate, immorality, law breaking or theft is sin. can you see that everyone has sinned and stands guilty before god?
because of your sin and mine he died.
in dying jesus was giving us a way out. by believing in his death for us personally we can be saved.

if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
