"shalom" is the hebrew word used by jesus in reference to the peace he promises. it has no real equivalent in the english language, referring to inner peace, joy and the fullness of life (jn. 10: 10).

this web site is dedicated to helping people come to realize this shalom by providing a wide variety of resources to encourage and support christian contemplative spirituality. i hope you will find it so.

this project consists of 15 image concepts with accompanying audio teachings on the basic beliefs of christianity. for those seeking an adult-level opportunity to update your faith-understanding, here is a good place to start. discussion forum option is also available to help process the teachings.

shalom place ebookstore now open
we have been making our e-publications available through the years as "donationware," meaning that one should make a donation if the work is used. this hasn't worked out well, so now we've set up an online bookstore with lots of offerings and more to come. for a very nominal fee--$9.00 at this time--one can obtain all the e-books in the store. read more about it in the web logs, link below..
